David, founder and director of Trusted Advisor, has been working as an Independent Financial Advisor since 1992, always within his own business. In 1999, David discovered the pioneering work of Dimensional Fund Advisors of Santa Monica, California, and subsequently established Trusted Advisor Ltd in 2001. With an extensive and in-depth knowledge of investment methodology and financial markets, David specialises in portfolio advisory and lifetime financial planning. He works solely by recommendation from accountants and solicitors acting on behalf of successful entrepreneurs, and currently manages the wealth on behalf of 25 affluent individuals.

He is great friends with Noel farrelly and Les Phillips, owners of Index Wealth Management in Sutton Coldfield, and together the firms share a common purpose and approach to managing a successful financial advisory firm. Index Wealth Management are locum to Trusted Advisor.

David has been married since 1992, and lives in Thaxted, Essex. Throughout the summer months he enjoys sailing his boat in Blakeney, North Norfolk. Through the winter he manages the Bluegate Hall Shoot in Great Bardfield, Essex, and is a member of a customer's shooting syndicate which shoots throughout the British Isles.
